Professional football hasn't come Bhutan yet.Therefore its football  marked time.Football Federation Of Bhutan joined AFC in 1993 and FIFA in 2000.National Team lost to Afghanistan 0-2 and 0-3 on 2012 AFC Challenge Cup Qualification latest.
There are 7 club in national league(meeting double time).I couldn't find any information about 2011 Bhutan League.Perhaps League wasn't played.
Most of the teams from capital city Thimpu.Popular teams are Yeedzin FC,Transport United,Druk Star FC and Druk Pol FC.National Stadium
is Changlimithang Stadium that has 25 000 capacity.
İ could find 2 players that play at abroad.Sonam Tenzin is playing for Budhist Blue Star(india lower division) and Chencho is playing for Royal Wahingdoh FC(second level of india).
